I grew up in Minnesota and earned a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison to teach French. After that, I moved to France for several years where I taught English (ELL) to business professionals. Back in Minnesota, I taught French and ELL in schools and adult education programs. I'm passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, translation, and writing in Plain English!

In 2016, I earned my Instructional Design Master’s Certificate and jumped into this field that I love!

I'M EXPERIENCEDI have designed and delivered learning for diverse audiences for over 20 years. My courses are grounded in adult learning psychology and I have a strong eye for graphic design. I’m proficient in a wide range of eLearning and video development tools and quickly learn new tech.
I'M ALSO A FACILITATORI've spent 20+ years designing and delivering immersive, blended VILT and ILT learning experiences. Through hands-on experience, I've learned what works and what doesn't. Motivating learners is half the battle, so my courses are relevant, practical, and interactive while achieving the intended learning objectives.
I LOVE CONSULTINGI ask the right questions, then listen closely. I drive deep discussion to uncover the true performance need. I quickly build rapport and trust with all levels of employees from new hires to executives.
